GGully — Privacy Policy

Gully ("we", "the app") helps you organise pickup sports games with your group. This policy explains what
we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: entrepreter@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Email address — to create your account and sign you in (one-time codes).
- Display name — shown to other members of your groups.
- Phone number — optional; only if you choose to add it.
- UPI ID (VPA) — optional; a payment handle so teammates can repay you. We do not collect card or bank-account numbers.
- Profile photo — optional, if you upload one.
- App activity — the groups, matches, RSVPs, cost splits/settlements, in-app messages, and reward points you create or take part in.
- Push token — a device identifier used only to send you notifications.
- Venue searches — text you type when searching for a venue is sent to OpenStreetMap to return suggestions. We do not track your background or precise device location.
How we use it
To provide the app's core features: signing you in, showing your groups and matches, running RSVP polls,
balancing teams, splitting and tracking costs, and sending notifications you opt into. We do not use your data
for advertising, and we do not run third-party analytics or ad SDKs.
How it's shared
- With your groups: your name, RSVPs and payment status are visible to other members of the groups you join — this is core functionality.
- Service providers that process data on our behalf: Supabase (hosting & database), Resend (login emails),
Expo & Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), and OpenStreetMap/Nominatim (venue search).
- We never sell your data.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your data is restricted by per-user database rules so members
only see data for the groups they belong to.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. To delete your account and associated data, email
entrepreter@gmail.com and we'll remove it. Deleting a group also
removes its matches, RSVPs and settlements.
Children
Gully is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
